One of a lovely terrace of Regency houses, Regency House (listed, Grade II) Holiday Apartment, Royal Road, Ramsgate, is well-appointed with above-average accommodation. Royal Road is in the heart of the Westcliffe Conservation area of Ramsgate, situated five minutes from the Royal Harbour Yacht Marina, quiet sandy beaches and the town centre.

The accommodation is a maisonette situated on the upper three floors of this large elegant house. It is very spacious and well-appointed. There are two large bedrooms with comfortable king-sized beds and en-suite shower rooms. A twin bedded room and family bathroom.
The large, comfortable sitting room, has digital television with freesat, DVD player and Stereo equipment. There are oblique views of Ramsgate Royal Harbour from the balcony and bedroom windows. The kitchen/dining room is well-appointed with a refectory table seating six, range cooker, fridge/freezer and dishwashing machine. The utility room is fully equipped with washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a further cloakroom with toilet and wash hand basin. Access to the garden is via the utility room. The walled garden is paved and has flower beds, garden furniture and BBQ equipment.

Area description
The Isle of Thanet is in Eastern Kent, and enjoys above-average sunshine. Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Margate, the three main towns, have their separate characters. With 26 miles of golden sandy beaches and secluded bays, it is not difficult to pass a hot sunny day watching life go by.
Blue Flag and Quality Coast Award
Thanet is justifiably proud of its' beautiful, sandy beaches and continually strives to attain high standards of water quality and beach cleanliness. This has been recognised and acknowledged in the record number of Blue Flag and Quality Coast Awards Thanet has achieved.
There are also plenty of pretty villages and rambling country lanes to explore.
The nature reserves at Monkton and Pegwell Bay are noted bird-watching locations and Manston War Museum is ten minutes drive away. There are lovely walks along the cliff-tops and a wealth of historical interest in the area.
The popular replica 18th century British frigate, the Grand Turk, famous for her staring roles in the major television series the Hornblower and Longitude makes regular return visits to Ramsgate during April and May, subject to weather and tides. Throughout the year there are regular visit to Ramsgate Royal Harbour by "Tall Ships" Stand on the break water and watch the flotilla arrive and depart.
Ramsgate Week, is from Monday 10th - Saturday 15th August 2009. The Royal Temple Yacht Club hold their annual week of racing with over a 100 yachts and boats taking part.
Canterbury is a 20 minute drive away and is the county town of Kent, with its famous Cathedral, wealth of historic buildings and shops.
Folkestone and the Channel Tunnel, Dover and the ferries are easily accessible by car from Ramsgate, making day trips to France easily doable.
You can take a trip in the open-top bus visiting Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Margate or take a boat trip round the bays and view the wind farm being built in the Thames estuary and the seals on Goodwin Sands.
Nearby places to visit are the historic Cinque Port of Sandwich, Deal, Dungeness, and Rye.
