Riverside walks River, Forest & Loch walks from cottages. Local wildlife such as deer, otters and buzzards can be spotted from the comfort of your cottage. Ideal for outdoor activities. Only 20 minutes from Inverness & Loch Ness.
All rooms in all the cottages have electric heating.

Area description
Riverside Cottages are very conveniently situated for visiting the south shore of Loch Ness which is missed by many tourists.
From Farr, be sure to take the scenic Stratherrick road and enjoy the views from Suidhe Chuimen. This is the highest point on what was the old military road from Fort Augustus to Fort George.
Also on the south side of the loch: Waterfall at Foyers - immortalised by Scotland's
favourite poet Robert Burns. Forest walks at Inverfarigaig and Iron Age Dun Dearduil (magnificent views over Loch Ness) Bridge built by General Wade at Whitebridge. Numerous little lochs - ideal for a picnics! Views of the Monadhliath Mountains.
