South Littleton Bothy - sleeps 5

South Littleton's 38 acres are now mainly grazing land supporting visiting horses, numerous ponies, and sheep at various times of the year. Only 1.5 miles from Blairgowrie town centre yet in the heart of rolling countryside, the farm is an ideal retreat to enjoy peace and quiet, to use as a base for touring much of Scotland, or to enjoy the local Golf, fishing, walking, riding, cycling and, skiing in winter.

One of two self contained cottages converted from the original farm steading to a high standard with modern fittings and fixtures, while retaining original features to provide both comfort and character. Set in an attractive courtyard setting with ample parking. The cottage has both front and rear access, with an enclosed area to the rear for relaxing and outdoor dining. For the larger party, renting both of the adjoining cottages would be the perfect solution particularly for christmas or new year.

The Bothy has two bedrooms, comfortably sleeping 5. Ideal for a large family or two couples, currently configured with double beds and in the downstairs bedroom, an additional single. There is ample room for a cot in the upstairs bedroom. Also upstairs is the sitting room reached via the open stair way. This is a lovely living space with two high back chairs, chesterfield, television and log burner.

On the ground floor, the airy modern kitchen is roomy enough for a large dining table (see photo). Off the kitchen area is a corridor leading to the shower room/WC and the spacious second bedroom.

Bed linen, high quality duvet's, pillows and towels are provided.

The kitchen is fully equipped with washer/dryer, microwave, toaster, electric cooker, oven, fridge and all usual utensils. If there is anything we haven't thought about, please tell us.

The views are lovely from the rear garden and particularly nice from the upstairs rooms.

The cottage is heated by electric storage heaters with 24 hour heaters in the bedrooms, and of course the wood burner in the upstairs sitting room. Cosy and snug - even in the coldest winter.
