Welcome to Springwell Country Cottage
A warm welcome awaits you at Springwell Country Cottage situated in a quiet cul-de-sac off the main road between Coleraine and Limavady. The clachan, (an Irish word for a small group of houses) is on the edge of Springwell Forest which is ideal for rambles, picnics and dog-walking.
The house has been completely modernised and fully equipped to make your stay comfortable and relaxed. At the back of the house is a garden that has been completely fenced to make the area secure for children and dogs. From the back door you step on to a deck with a table and four chairs. Down just a few steps and you will be in the garden and here there is a BBQ for outdoor meals. Springwell Cottage is a 3 bedroom unit which sleeps up to 4 adults and 2 children.
Facilities
3 Bedrooms – one double, one twin and one small single that can become a twin. Bed linen and towels will be provided. In two of the bedrooms there is a desk with power point for PC and WiFi set up for PCs. There is central heating throughout the cottage. The kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer. The sitting/dining room has an electric fire, TV, /DVD, music system plus dining room table and chairs. Outside in a shed: Tumble Drier and line drying facilities. High Chair available on request. Rotary clothes line in the garden. In the garden - Deck with table and chairs, and BBQ .

The cottage is situated just a few miles from Castlerock and the famous Mussenden Temple. County Donegal can be reached by driving through Londonderry, which is about 40 minutes away to the west, or by driving via Castlerock to Magilligan Point and taking a ferry over the Lough Foyle to Greencastle. Twenty minutes drive to the ferry and then a quick crossing to the other side and you can be in Co.Donegal and on your way to Inishowen and Malin Head. You can drive east from the cottage through Coleraine to Portstewart, Portrush, Bushmills, the Giants Causeway and on to the Antrim Coast and Glens. This is a wonderfully convenient place to stay for all main attractions along Northern Ireland’s famous Causeway Coast.
Activities
Walking, fishing, canoeing, horse riding, cycling, golfing – there are many world- class links courses and a couple of parkland courses within half an hour drive - sandy beaches – surfing is great in this part of the world. There is also good shopping, restaurants, bars, cafes, not to mention the train trip along Northern Ireland’s magnificent coastline… or just stay at the cottage, relax and unwind.
