Stable Cottage dates from 1897 when the farm underwent a period of expansion & investment. Originally stables it has now been converted into a stunning 2 bedroom/2 bathroom holiday cottage. Flexible start dates with a 3 night minimum stay.
On the ground floor the living accommodation is semi open plan with a well fitted kitchen and separate dining area featuring natural travertine flooring. The sitting room runs off the dining area, with a double height ceiling, oak flooring and a wood burning stove. Views across the fields from the living area.
There is a twin bedroom downstairs with an adjacent bathoom. This bathroom is a wet room with a large easy access shower. The bedroom is usually configured as a twin room but can on request be converted into an additional double room with an Extra King bed 6' wide x 6'3"long.
Upstairs the master bedroom has a King sized bed and another bathroom with both a bath & separate shower.

This holiday cottage sleeps a maximum of four guests (plus cot space) in two bedrooms. Whilst not specifically designed for disabled access this cottage is suited for those with limited mobility. There is solid paving from the parking area to the cottage, an open plan living area, and a downstairs bedroom with shower wet room. We are only two miles from the centre of Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire and less than one mile from our nearest village Walkington. Beverley train station is less than two miles away and we are on a bus route.
Beverley is a delightful market town, stroll around the quaintly named streets, check out the market or try one of the many stunning restaurants on offer.
Walkington is a lovely village with a picturesque duck pond and some rather controversial terrapins. There are three pubs all of which serve food and a local shop.
We are only 10 miles from Hull – a city with a proud maritime heritage and a host of attractions & activities including the Deep & Wilberforce House
The coast is within easy reach, sample the unspoilt environment at Spurn Point a designated National Nature Reserve & Heritage Coast or try the rock pools & puffin colony at Flamborough Headland another designated Heritage Coast. We have Blue Flag beaches at Bridlington & Hornsea and don’t miss Fraisthorpes’ lovely long sandy beach.
