Mumbles is the largest of the Gower villages and Thistleboon occupies a quiet position away from the hustle and bustle but still within walking distance of all the village amenities. Mumbles boasts a plethora of restaurants, cafes, delis, galleries and boutiques as well as supermarkets and banks. Promenade along the sea front to the pier and onto the lighthouse, explore the ruins of Oystermouth Castle or walk the coastal paths and enjoy the magnificent views across to Devon. Mumbles is an established base for families, couples looking for a romantic break, walkers, cyclists, watersports and sailing enthusiasts and Swansea is only a few miles away with all the benefits of the city. Thistleboon is a semi detached bungalow with a driveway and garage with good access. With oak flooring throughout and two sliding patio doors to access the verandah and garden it is suitable for children of all ages and those with limited mobility. Kitchen has eye level oven for easy use, breakfast bar and door onto verandah. Washer/dryer in airing cupboard. Walk in cupboard off entrance hall for coats and boots. The secluded, level rear garden is secure on all sides and with lawn and patio as well the verandah it is a great play area. Travel cot & highchair are provided. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and is fully tiled. Private parking is available immediately outside on the driveway and the garage offers secure storage for bikes, motorbikes and beach gear. Exceptionally quiet location, bus stop 3 minutes away. 5 minutes walk to stunning sea views, 5-10 minutes walk downhill to lighthouse and restaurant, 10-15 minutes to village and shops. 20 - 30 minutes walk to Caswell and Langland Bays
