Property description
The apartment is furnished and equipped to the highest standard of luxury and with original local artwork. The central heating and double glazing make it perfect for year round holidays. In the kitchen there are built in appliances including washer/dryer, dishwasher, double oven and microwave and even a Baby Gaggia Italian coffee machine together with Alessi equipment. The living area has access on to a balcony overlooking the ocean, 32'' flatscreen T.V., video and Blue Ray DVD player and Hifi with Ipod docking station. The master bedroom/en suite also has ocean views and the second bedroom has harbour views. Both bedrooms have a t.v. Molton Brown hand soaps/creams are provided in the bathrooms. Rental is from 3pm Friday to 10am Friday with a weekly change of luxury bedding and towels. (Sorry no pets and no smoking policy) Included, free use of the old police garage, 5 mins walk away. Double Sofa bed in Lounge, by arrangement.

Area description
St Ives is a lovely historic Cornish Fishing village with a maze of cobbled streets jumbled with shops, restaurants, galleries, pubs and clubs. There are many local attractions and activities such as swimming, surfing, body boarding walking and fishing. St Ives has a history in the pilchard trade and during the season there is an oportunity to join 'Shanty Baba' to hear some of the local tales. Excellent food is on offer in restaurants, pubs and cafes offering fresh local produce, some have appeared on television recently. There is a farmers market most Thursdays. Entertainment in the summer can be found at the open air theatre not far away. Other attractions near by are the Eden Project, Flambards and the gardens at Helygon close to the Helford river. The main attraction in St Ives is of course The Tate Gallery and the Barbara Hepworth museum both open all year round and only a couple of minutes walk from the apartment.
