Temple Folly self catering, Leyburn

The Temple Folly is a magical, romantic retreat in the heart of Wensleydale enjoying magnificant views across to Bolton Castle and the lower force at Aysgarth Falls. Built in 1792 Temple Folly is a Grade II listed building which was originally used as an observatory for the ladies of the local gentry to watch the progress of hunts and to take in the fine views of the surrounding area.

Original features include domed ceilings, Georgian plaster-work, wood burning stove, woodland garden with panoramic views, patio area with table and chairs, ample parking, fly fishing on River Ure by arrangement.

Ground floor:
One room comprising kitchen, sitting and dining area with wood burning stove, flat screen TV/DVD. The living area has electric under-floor heating. Shower room with WC and hand wash basin (razor light) are adjoining. The shower room has under-floor heating plus a heated towel rail.

Kitchen/Cooking:
Electric cooker and job, microwave, toaster/kttle, fridge with ice compartment, iron and ironing board, all utensils, crockery, glassware, cutlery, pans etc. Spiral stone staircase with access to the first floor via open air balcony leading to the upper floor bedroom.

Upper floor bedroom:
5ft sleigh bed, 12.5 and 4.5 tog combination duvet, electric blanket, flat screen TV/DVD, beverage making facilities, hair dryer. The bedroom has a night storage heather and electric fan heater. All line and towels are provided.
