Thanckes House is between Torpoint and Looe and situated on the Cliffs at Portwrinkle. There is a lovely 3 star hotel very close by and a 18 hole golf course.
There is the lovely Finnygook Inn within a 5 min walk a great Pub that serves fantastic food and very welcoming. Below on the cliff edge is the Gook beach cafe.
The cornish coastal footpath runs close by where you can enjoy the most dramatic scenery in the south west.
