Two self contained holiday cottages within the grounds of a 16th Century Coach House situated in an area of natural beauty with views across the local valleys. Our neighbours on the hilltop location include a Medieval Church, Dower House and Castle. Penhow Castle is the oldest 'lived-in' castle in Wales, formerly a hunting lodge for the Seymour's whose daughter Jane became a wife of Henry VIII.
The cottages are situated on a hilltop location bordering acres of farmland with views across the local valleys. A spacious layout has been designed to provide maximum comfort and each cottage offers two double bedrooms, both en suite, fully equipped kitchen, oak beamed lounge/diner with polished oak floors, French doors opening onto patio, sun room, downstairs wc/shower room.

What to do
We are ideally situated for exploring activities such as bird watching, fishing, golf, cycling, walking. Places to visit include the Wye Valley reaching from Tintern to Monmouth and the Roman Fortress at Caerleon. Whether touring by car or walking, charming towns and villages and historic sites are around every corner. You can join in the medieval banquets at Caldicot Castle. There is Chepstow a medieval walled town. Weekly markets. Usk, Monmouth and Abergavenny all have wonderful antique shops to explore. Tredegar House Newport is a grand post civil war house now open to viewing with a public park.
