Set in a quiet location at the heart of Middleton-by-Youlgrave village, The Forge provides spacious and comfortable accommodation for 5 or 6 in a building of real character.

The lounge has a log burning stove - logs are provided, there is a delightful garden and off street parking for 1 car. The Forge has full central heating and is equipped to a very high standard.

It is tastefully furnished throughout and is situated in beautiful Bradford Dale, one mile from shops and pubs in Youlgreave.

Bradford Dale, in the beautiful White Peak, is a perfect location for those who enjoy walking and the outdoors.

The ancient village of Youlgreave is only a mile away, and has pubs serving food, and shops to cater for your basic needs.

The village is also home to All Saints Parish Church, with its 15th-century square tower, reputedly the finest in Derbyshire.

The Peak District is a great destination for those who enjoy walking, cycling, bird watching, caving, horse riding, rock climbing, gliding, fishing and other outdoor puruits.

The Forge is also close to the former Victorian Spa town of Matlock, the pretty market town of Bakewell, the Chatsworth Estate, with something for everyone to enjoy, and many other Peak District attractions.

The Forge is available all year round for long or short breaks

All rooms are comfortably and thoughtfully furnished and decorated.
There is full central heating and private parking for 1 car.
All the kitchen equipment, crockery etc. are provided. There is a fridge, dishwasher, washer drier, iron and ironing board.
Duvets, pillows and bedcovers are provided for all beds.
Basic cleaning equipment and materials, including washing up liquid, washing and dishwasher powder, will be available

Bed linen, towels and tea towels.

Accommodation
The front door in the central section of the building opens into a large hall. To the right is a well proportioned and well-equipped kitchen/dining room with oak floor and exposed beams. Going through this room, a door leads to a spacious but cosy lounge, again with oak flooring and having a wood burning stove. French doors lead to a patio and good-sized garden. Above the lounge is a single bedroom with ensuite WC (a folding bed is available for use in this room required).

To the left of the front door the hall leads round to a beautifully fitted bathroom with shower. There is a double bedroom on the ground floor and a staircase leads to a twin bedded room with adjacent WC. All rooms are tastefully decorated and thoughtfully furnished. There is full central heating. We are confident that you will be pleased with what you find.
