The Granary B&B

The Granary is a Bed & Breakfast that is run by husband and wife team Joyce & Ray Shaw. They let three rooms - two doubles and a twin - and they all have new flatscreen TV with DVD, tea and coffee facilities large ensuites with double-size showers and one also has a freestanding roll-top bath for those luxury nights!
There is super mune for breakfast catering for all tastes, from walkers who like a hearty Welsh breakfast, vegetarians with our home-made Glamorgan sausages, to those who like the lighter bite - poached or scrambled eggs - and everything inbetween such as eggy bread with crispy bacon and maple syrup to homemade porridge in the winter to set everyone up for the day, whatever their activities. Situated between Brecon and Hay on Wye, The Granary is ideal for the Hay Literary Festival, the Royal Welsh Show, Brecon Jazz, the Talgarth Festival held over the August Bank Holiday, and many other events happening locally.

Autumn Room, - This is our larger double with a Kingsize bed, super size ensuite with
double shower. Cost is £85 per night to include full cooked
breakfast. Lovely views to the hills, overlooking the garden.

Summer Room - This is our second double room with a double bed and a huge ensuite
with double-size shower AND a roll top bath to enjoy. Cost is £80
per night to include full cooked breakfast. This looks out over
the front courtyard of the house.

Spring Room - Our twin room is the smallest of our rooms but is still a lovely room
with large shower ensuite. The room has lovely views overlooking the
garden.

There is plenty of parking at the front of the house and lovely local walks can be
taken from the doorstep. We have a large Guest Lounge and dining room where guests can relax and watch Sky TV or read from our small library. We have map books, leaflets and information to help organize your activities for your stay.
