The Granary is a converted barn on the site of a listed Grade 2 farmhouse situated in the tiny rural hamlet of Ruthwaite, dating from the 1600's.

The cottage enjoys unrestricted views to Skiddaw, Binsey fell, Caldbeck and Uldale fells all of which for the keen fell-walker,are accessible from the doorstep.

The central-heated, double-glazed and well equipped accommodation comprises:
GROUND FLOOR
Dining kitchen equipped with electric cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave oven and washing machine.
Single ground-floor bedroom
Shower-room with shower, WC and hand basin.
Lounge with additional electric fire, TV DVD & CD players, video.Two sets of French doors open onto a private, secluded, south-facing patio/garden with furniture.

FIRST FLOOR
1 double bedroom
1 twin bedroom with extra TV and seating.
Bathroom with bath, WC and hand-basin.

OUTSIDE AREA
The south-facing patio/garden, with furniture, offers privacy, seclusion, 'away from it all' peace, looking over open farmland to Skiddaw and the open fells. The view is fantastic. You will be watched only by the donkey and Shetland pony (who love
dogs) in the paddock beyond.
The patio opens onto an enclosed lawned area offering safety for children and dogs to play.

PARKING
There is private off-road parking for one car.

Cost is fully inclusive of gas, electriciy and bed-linen. Beds are made up for your arrival and tea is awaiting you.
