Area description
It is ideally situated on the edge of Shropshire, Wales and Cheshire which offer many local attractions within easy distance, such as Chester, Shrewsbury, Erddig, Chirk Castle. Alternatively if you want a break from the stresses and strains, Hanmer is extremely peaceful and pretty! We have a bowling green attached which is extremely popular with a local league but can also be used if previously arranged by singles or other clubs. Golfing is on offer and also Bangor on Dee Races is within a stones throw of Hanmer village.
