Glebe Farm itself is a 110acre working arable, beef and lavender farm, 6 miles east of Nottingham centre, in the picturesque River Trent valley. The fields surround the cottages and are abundant with wildlife:

You may even see a badger at night or one of our resident herons, ducks or kingfishers.

The cottage is ideally suited for visiting close by Sherwood Forest (30minutes), the ancient market towns of Newark (30minutes), Southwell Minster(10 minutes) and Lincoln Cathedral(45minutes). Alternatively why not spend some time enjoying shopping or the sporting facilities in nearby Nottingham City (15minutes). The national water sports centre, Ice stadium and international cricket and Tennis centre are a few of the excellent venues close by.

If you simply want to just relax, enjoy the endless riverside walks on your doorstep.
