Property description
The cottage has 3 bedrooms, one double downstairs and two twin rooms upstairs.
The bathroom with bath and seperate shower unit is downstairs.
The sitting room has a woodburning stove and the hall/dining area has french doors leading to a patio and the garden. Lots of books and games.
The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave,and is well equipped. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer also iron and ironing board.
TV,DVD,radio,CD player and Wi Fi all available.
South facing private garden with lawn, patio, BBQ and access to woodland walks. Great for children and dogs. We can provide a cot and high chair.
Good safe parking and lock up shed for bikes etc.
Backdoor opens into farm yard which is only used now for the owners Connemara ponies.

Area description
We are only 2 miles from the beautiful Strangford Lough with opportunities for boat trips and canoeing. Delamont Country Park on the shores of the Lough is ideal for walking and is only 5 minutues away.
The National Trust properties of Castleward and Rowallane Gardens are nearby and the children can enjoy a day out at Exploris the famous aquarium at Portaferry or a picnic on the beach at Kilclief or Tyrella.
The Mourne Mountains great for hikng are a short drive away.
Pony trekking or riding lessons are both available locally.
Plenty of opportunies for golfing nearby and also at the world renowned Royal Co Down Golf Club in Newcastle only 20 minutes away by car.
Those interested in history can visit St Patricks Centre and the museum in Downpatrick and the ancient sites of Inch Abbey and Nendrum.
Many excellent restaurants in Killyleagh, Saintfield, Downpatrick and Strangford.
