The Inn on the Green is situated in the Onny Valley between the Longmynd and Stiperstone Hills. This is classed as an "area of outstanding natural beauty" Recognised as an outstanding area for walking and cycling holidays. The hills offer views of Snowdonia and mid Wales to the west, the North Shropshire plain and other surrounding hills. Historic centres such as Shrewsbury, the county town and Ironbridge Museum area are all within easy reach.
