Situated in beautiful open countryside on the Powys/ Shropshire border, The Old Hand & Diamond makes an excellent central base to visit all the delights of Shropshire’s county town – Shrewsbury, approximately 9 miles away (15 minutes by car).

The Old Hand & Diamond Inn stands within its large car park, a children’s play area and beer garden is located off this, and there is plenty of outside seating on our sunny patio.

We have seven en-suite bedrooms, decorated in a traditional country style with exposed beams and interesting features.

There are a selection of double bedded rooms and family sized rooms which can cater for up to five persons.

Also available for the use of our guests are hair dryers, iron and ironing boards, shoe cleaning kits and travel cots free of charge.

£60.00 per double room per night Sunday to Thursday, and if staying two nights at weekend £70.00 per double room for Friday/Saturday night only bookings £45.00 per single room per night during week and 2 night bookings at weeekend £50.00 per single room for Friday/Saturday night only bookings

All rates include full English breakfast and Vat.
* A deposit of £25.00 per room is requested.
