The Paddocks, Norfolk Holiday Cottages

The Paddocks – a historic barn converted to three cottages of character together with Kiln Barn a separate, self-contained cottage. All Weather Swimming pool and several acres of grass land for playing games and a small children’s play area. The Paddocks are located in a quiet rural situation and conveniently situated for visiting the coast and numerous attractions in the area.

Each cottage has a gas barbecue and shared use of the gardens. The cottages are fully centrally heated and with living electric fires in feature fire places, they make an ideal base for all year holidays.
Each cottage has TV, DVD and video player. There is a communal laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and irons. Also situated in this area is a deep freeze and while you are doing your washing you can read all about the area in our local information centre.
A purpose-built internet room with broadband access is available for those wishing to use email or search the web. Visitors with laptop computers can gain access using the wireless network. Details at reception.

Stiffkey: Sleeps 6
The open plan sitting/dining room/kitchen gives a spacious living area. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, electric hob and oven.
Bedroom 1: Twin beds.
Bedroom 2: Twin beds with fully tiled en-suite shower room with toilet and wash basin.
Bedroom 3: Double bed.
To complete Stiffkey Barn, there is an attractive, fully tiled bathroom. Dogs welcome by arrangement in this cottage only.

Wensum: Sleeps 4
The accommodation comprises a large open plan sitting/dining area with a large separate kitchen.
Bedroom 1: Double bed.
Bedroom 2: Twin beds.
Bathroom with shower over bath.

Stable: Sleeps 6
The accommodation in this cottage consists of a large sitting/dining room/kitchen area.
Bedroom 1: Twin beds.
Bedroom 2: Double bed, en-suite shower room with wash basin and toilet.
Bedroom 3: Double bed.
A pretty, fully tiled bathroom completes the accommodation in Stable Barn.
A cot and high chair are available in all cottages. Each cottage is supplied with duvets, linen and bath towels.

Kiln: A delightful renovated 1 bedroom self catering cottage with ensuite walk-in showeroom, open plan living/kitchen area with dishwasher, T.V., Freeview, DVD and wireless internet connection.
Outside there is a private patio area with seating and ample parking for 1 car.

The Swimming Pool is approximately 10 metres by 5 metres and slopes in a constant plane from 1 metre in depth to 2 metres. It has easy access with "Roman" steps and a large safety grab handle. Whilst this enables the energetic to have a good swim, it also means that there is a safe area for toddlers. The water is permanently heated to a pleasant 88 degrees.

The Pool is housed in a conservatory-style structure with direct access from a small changing room with a shower and toilet. Although this structure ensures a pleasant internal temperature, should the outside temperature drop, there is an integral supplementary heating system available to ensure a comfortable temperature in the worst of weather conditions. In addition there a reasonable size seating area with garden furniture should anyone wish to observe rather than swim.
