Weybourne is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is part of the Heritage Coastline which links up with both the Weavers and Peddars Way. Weybourne is a conservation area so flint work and tradition are important.
Weybourne is a popular and well loved historic village boasting:
The Maltings Hotel / Restaurant - dog friendly
The Ship village pub - very dog friendly
A village shop and post office
Bowling green
All Saints, our beautiful priory church
Methodist Church
Sea Diving – some good wrecks to explore

The Muckleburgh Collection - a privately owned military museum open to the public. It includes working demonstrations of tanks and the opportunity to ride on a “Gamma Goat”
Excellent walks over the heath and cliff tops
Explore the heath where the gorse never stops flowering
Norfolk Coast Hopper Bus service links Weybourne to other villages & towns along the coast road between Cromer & Hunstanton
And of course the access to the sea (which also provides good fishing)
Other ideas and walks
The heaths contain a network of paths, nature trail and fantastic views of the surrounding area.
Not what you imagine of Norfolk - hills and cliffs - but that is exactly what Weybourne has to offer. Norfolk's "mountains" make Weybourne a popular walking spot.
The beach is only a 12 minute walk away.
The beach leads straight onto the cliffs which provide a scenic walk to the town of Sheringham. Or you can catch the Coast Hopper - a regular bus service - a great way to explore the rest of the coastline.
Holkham Beach
A great beach for all ages and requirements. From the youngest to the oldest, this beach is great—its huge, flat, safe and never too crowded
You can take the dog, fly a kite or swim in the shallow, warm water. A small section of this vast beach is naturist (about a 30 min walk from the car park to the left)
Cley and Blakeney
Weybourne is also at the start of the shingle spit that makes Cley & Blakeney so famous (leading all the way to Blakeney Point). Seal trips are very popular. Cley is internationally renown for its bird life
Naturally, this is an area abundant with lots of fresh seafood to enjoy.
Lots of walks and very varied countryside
Other great walks start from the village. Weybourne has a wide choice of style and habitat in the surrounding countryside including the heath, cliffs and marshes.
Sheringham Park
The Weybourne village farmland backs on to National Trust Land at Sheringham Park, a fantastic walk at any time but especially good during June when the rhododendrons & azaleas are blooming.
The 'Holt-Cromer ridge'
Geographically, to the south of the village is the 'Holt-Cromer ridge', the dumping ground of the glacier which once advanced this far from Scandinavia. Hence, the coastline is riddled with fossils which constantly appear at the surface of the eroding cliffs. It provides some stunning woods and countryside to walk through.
Community events
There are regular events at the Village Hall through out the week and all year round. Over the August Bank Holiday there is always a “Fun day” with dog show & beer tent as well as evening entertainment.
