Three Wells sits at the edge of the beautiful Radnor hills, between the historic spa towns of Llandrindod Wells and Builth Wells.
Llandrindod Wells, just 2km from Three Wells, is the town at the geographical heart of Wales and is a natural meeting point for people travelling from all over the country, as well as being an attractive town in its own right.
Builth Wells (Llanfair-ym-Muallt), a 5 minute drive from Three Wells, is famous as home to the Royal Welsh Showground, whose many events draw visitors from across Europe and beyond. A little further, Hay-on-Wye is famed for its year-round beauty as much as for its annual literary festival.
The countryside of Mid Wales is one of Britain's best kept secrets; a real mecca for walkers, cyclists and mountain bikers who like to venture far from the beaten track. From the exceptional Radnor hills in the East, to the truly wild Cambrian mountains in the West, to the better known Brecon Beacons to the South, and the foothills of Snowdonia to the North, Mid Wales is well worth a visit and there are many excellent routes leading directly from Three Wells Hotel.
