Twitchers Retreat has its own well lit car park with a space per bedroom. We have a gravelled and paved area and drop off point with a ramp for easy access. Our Access Statement is available on request. Our bedrooms are individual and sumptuously decorated, bright and modern with ensuite facilities. All rooms have dressing gowns and slippers, chocolates and fresh flowers.

A Twitchers Retreat Breakfast is served at flexible times and freshly cooked, allowing you to go for a walk or birding, then return with a good appetite to enjoy your four course breakfast served in our relaxing conservatory. Observe close up the birds enjoying their breakfast on the many feeders just a few feet away from your dining table. Our produce is sourced locally and we have our own hens for those lovely fresh tasting eggs.

Breakfast is served at flexible times up to 10.00 am. Should you wish to eat in we encourage you to relax and eat in the conservatory whilst enjoying the beautiful garden and wildlife pond. The koi can be seen jumping in the twilight on warm evenings catching the flies and dragonflies.

All rooms and en-suites are serviced every day.

The facilities include a well-stocked hospitality tray, along with fresh flowers and a chocolate on your bedside table to welcome you. A fridge offering fresh milk and water are also standard outside the rooms.

BALCONY ROOM

This luxury room with its unique balcony offers fantastic views overlooking the marshes towards the sea where you can watch hunting barn owls. This room, with it's king size bed and French doors, has been accessorised to give a light and airy feel.
The room is decorated to a very high standard with sumptuous gold counterpanes and curtains with a thick off-white carpet for extra comfort.

It has a new leather sofa, flat screen television and plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. The solar panels on the roof supply plenty of hot water for the shower.

The French doors and velux windows have colour co-ordinated blackout blinds (the stars and moon are very bright at night as there is no light pollution). The balcony has its own table and chairs so you can enjoy the evening.

The en-suite has a luxury shower with plenty of hot water. Soft fluffy towels and shampoo, conditioner and gel. Bath robes and slippers are supplied. Like the other rooms attention to detail with all the little extras are available to make you comfortable.


AVOCET ROOM

This room is spacious and has been newly decorated and accessorised with contrasting counterpanes and curtains with thick off-white carpet for extra comfort. It has a velux window with a black-out blind as we have no light pollution and the stars are very bright.

Solar panels supply hot water to the en-suite facilities. The kingsize bed is well sprung and of excellent quality offering a good nights rest.

The room overlooks the pretty and tranquil front garden with its running water feature. There is a full size wardrobe and chest drawers. It has a comfortable leather sofa to relax and watch the flat screen television.


GARDEN ROOM

Featuring ground floor twin bedroom with window boxes outside and the peaceful garden with its running water feature offering both comfort and tranquility.

This room also features extra facilities in the en-suite for the less able bodied making it a versatile room for both singles and couples.

This room has comfortable twin beds that can be linked together to form a super-king bed.
