An 18th century guest house, Ty Clwb has been tastefully modernised. Guests can enjoy a large, comfortable lounge with TV, radio, books and games or on a sunny day relax outside on the south facing balcony overlooking beautiful countryside.
All the bedrooms are ensuite and delightfully individual. Cynfal View has a double bed and its bathroom has a bath with electric shower over. Rhinog View also has a double bed but its ensuite has a shower. Moelwyn View is a twin bedded room. Its ensuite has a shower and it also has its own private lounge area. Each room has mountain views and drink making facilities.

Ty Clwb is in the village of Ffestiniog, also known as Llan Ffestiniog, and is in a countryside location 3 miles away from the slate mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog. Blaenau Ffestiniog has the attractions of a slate mine and the famous Ffestiniog steam narrow gauge railway. Ty Clwb is approximately 8 miles from Harlech with its long,sandy beach and imposing castle and is also close to the Italianate village of Portmeirion. Snowdon, the highest mountain in England and Wales is a short drive away.
Ty Clwb has its own local mountains, the Moelwyns and there are many interesting walks from the house. including one to the famous Cynfal Falls.

• Tŷ Clwb : Ordnance survey grid reference 700418.
• Located on the B4391, close to the junction with the A470, Tŷ Clwb opens on to the road with a pavement outside the gate. Cars can be parked directly outside the gate to unload luggage and disembark guests.
• Assistance with luggage can be provided.
• Car parking is on the Square, 20 m walk across the road.
• The bus stops are 100m walk and there are regular buses to Porthmadog and Blaenau Ffestiniog. The bus timetables are available.
• There are railway stations at Blaenau Ffestiniog and Porthmadog. Train timetables are available.
• Tŷ Clwb is an 18th Century house, it has 10 steps up to the front door. The steps have a handrail and are well lit.
• The front door opens into a hallway and has no ‘clutter’ to distract . The lounge and dining room are on this level. There are no toilet facilities on this level.
• The three ensuite bedrooms are located on the floor above this level, there is a handrail for the stairs. The hallway and stairs are well lit and have emergency lighting.
• Tŷ Clwb shows sensitivity to hearing and visual impairment.
• In the lounge the television has a large screen with teletext and subtitles available. The seating in the lounge is moveable.
• There is a door which opens out from the lounge on to a small balcony and this has railings 1.5m high.
• In the dining room, the menu is clear and easy to read but staff are always willing to assist.
• Tŷ Clwb can accommodate special diets.
• The bedrooms in this 18th century house have beams and there are restricted height areas in each room where care has to be taken.
• All bedrooms have cordless kettles, well stocked hospitality trays and radio alarm clocks.
• Tŷ Clwb does accept pets and so assistance dogs are welcome.
• Tŷ Clwb cannot accommodate babies or young children.
• Mobile phone networks are available.
