Come and visit our quiet corner of historic Radnorshire, where you can take a stroll in our large informal gardens along the bank of the Hindwell brook,a small body of water that is the Wales/England border.
The house retains many original features, such as original sash windows, cast-iron fire places and our own well water supply (regularly tested!), but is complimented by 21st century comfort. Two rooms have en-suite shower rooms and one has a private bathroom, all can be twin or super-king with a little notice and have hospitality trays, bathrobes, hairdryer and free view television. Sky televsion is available in the guest's lounge, as is a boudoir grand piano should you wish to play.
Full cooked breakfast is offered, but there are many different options available to suit most dietry requirements, always ask and I'll do my best to accommodate them, and be happy to do so, after all it's your holiday!
We do have dogs, so are not suitable for children or anyone uncomfortable with them and being just a small concern, I'm affraid I can't accept credit cards, but I look forward to meeting you.

Presteigne may be a small town, but it has a lot to offer. There are gift, clothing and book shops and plenty of places to have a cup of tea and a bite to eat or lunch and evening meals. The Judge's Lodging is a beautifully restored house that was the former seat of the Victorian judges and their household and well worth a visit.
For those who'd like a little exercise, then there are forestry and riverside walks, or stroll around the Warden. If you'd like a swim, then visit the Leisure Centre, small, but friendly. There are golf courses at Knighton (7miles) and Kington (6miles). Not too much further away, in Llangunllo, are venues for clay pigeon shooting and a rally school. If taking to the air is what you'd like to do, then call in at Shobdon airfield and book a flight either in fixed wing aircraft at the Herefordshire Aero Club or visit Tiger Helicopters (pre-booking is essential).
In Kington there is the Small Breeds Farm Park and Owl Centre. It's a lovely way to spend a few hours and is open all year round.
In July, there is the Titley Jazz Festival, now held in Presteigne at The Rodd just on the outskirts of the town.
In August, over the bank holiday week, there is the Presteigne Festival of Music and Arts which has a more classical theme.
In October, Presteigne plays host to the Vintage Sports Car Club Rally. Two days of vintage mayhem!
