Well Cottage is based in the frounds of historic Manston Court, and was originally built to cover the top of a 200' well. This brick and flint building has a triple aspect kitchen/living area, with views out over the courtyard and surrounding garden. The cottage is all on one level, and has been particularly popular with those who have mobility issues. The well equipped kitchen has an electric cooker and hob, a refridgerator with freezer box, a microwave oven, toaster and washer/dryer. There is a television with VHS video and DVD player, as well as a freeview box.
The pretty bedroom is directly off the sitting room, and has a double bed with draws underneath. There are also bedside cabinets and a double wardrobe with additional draws. There are several large mirrors in the bedroom, and with pretty local paintings, and the burgundy throw and matching pillows, this cosy room has a chic hotel feel to it.
The bedroom leads conveniently into the ensuite shower room, and adjacent seperate toilet. There is a heated towel rail and shaving point. There is additional storage in the shower room.
There is private off road parking directly ouside the premises, and when it is hot, the tall trees opposite provide cool shade under which to park your car.
There is also a seating area outside the cottage, allowing for alfresco dining, or a nice sunny place to sit whilst enjoying a drink.
The cost of linen is included in the price, but could you please provide your own beach towels.
An iron, ironing board and hair dryer are also provided.
