A warm welcome awaits you at these well converted farm buildings,set on the edge of Hawkridge village, in the peace and tranquillity of Exmoor. Picnic benches on the terrace allow you to enjoy supberb views over the lawns to the surrounding moorland. Alternatively partake in a spot of horseriding or fishing, both of which can be arranged locally via the friendly owners, Peter and Irene.
All four cottages (Jasper, Kiri, Norton and Smiddy) are very well equipped and most of the king sized bedrooms, many of which are en-suite,can be converted to accommodate twin beds. Modern slim line televisions benefit from freeview channels and other facilities include DVDs, a digital radio (with MP3/ipod docking ports and integrated CD)together with a large selection of books and games. Every cottage has a wood burning stove.
Play facilities: on site there is a play area with swings,slide,seesaw etc as well
as ride on toys for the younger ones.
Outside : take a riverside walk through the large natural woodland which has
been designated a site of special scientific interest because of
its wide variety of flora and fauna. BBQs also available.
Amenities : ample off road parking.Bed linen, towels and logs included. Electric
is by meter reading,with the first £10 free. Internet access is
available via BT broadband open zone. Well-behaved pets welcome.
