Woodend B & B - Failford, Mauchline, Ayrshire

Woodend is a picturesque farm cottage in rural Ayrshire, providing excellent bed and breakfast accommodation.

It is on the outskirts of the hamlet of Failford which is on the River Ayr, about nine miles from the coastal town of Ayr. Woodend is on the route of the popular River Ayr Way which is a popular walk from the source of the River Ayr at Glenbuck to sea.

One twin and two double bedrooms are available for guests.

All bedrooms have ensuite/private facilities.

The two double bedded rooms have ensuite wetrooms (shower and wc). One of the rooms is designed to be wheel chair accessible

There is a separate residents' lounge area with television and a selection of books, games, jigsaw puzzles, dvds and videos to keep all amused.

Wireless internet connection is available for a small charge.

We are dog friendly but would appreciate being informed if you wish to bring your dog as we have dogs of our own.

During the summer months we have croquet set out in the front garden and short tennis available for guests to use.

Full, healthy breakfasts are served with fresh fruit and homemade preserves made from local and home grown produce.
