We are currently offering two unique accommodations - the Gothic Suite and the Cream Room. Each has an extensive list of features to make our guests feel at home, including complimentary hospitality tray of goodies including, but not limited to, mineral water, biscuits, fruit, chocolates and flowers and a luxury toiletries basket. Heating throughout the entire house is underfloor with individual controls in each room and bathroom, so guests can set their thermostats to the level of comfort that they desire.
THE GOTHIC SUITE (7ft Waterbed)
This exquisite and totally romantic room has triple aspect and beamed, vaulted ceilings. It is a huge room that expands the whole of the upper floor. The room is divided into a bedroom area and a dressing area with a table where breakfast can be taken in private should you wish. The bedroom area has a fabulous 7ft heated water bed and the decor and furnishings are inkeeping with the period.

The ensuite bathroom has a free standing slipper bath, his and hers basins, loo, bidet and double power shower and a bespoke made cast iron radiator.

Other facilities include a separate wash-stand with sink and tea & coffee making facilities, mini-bars,trouser press, hairdryer, clock radio and TV with Sky, ornamental fire place.

THE CREAM ROOM
This pretty light and airy double room is on the first floor and boasts a canopied king sized bed with memory foam matress and an Italian cream gloss suite.

Woodside is located near the tiny village of Cripps Corner, in the picturesque High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, in the heart of the countryside of East Sussex, bordering Kent. It is perfectly located just 10-25 minutes from the tourist orientated towns of Battle, Robertsbridge, Rye, Bodiam, Tenterden, Goudhurst and Tunbridge Wells and only 15 minutes from the seaside resorts of Hastings and Camber sands. The area is steeped in history and boasts an array of historic castle, houses, gardens and places of interest.
WALKING, CYCLING & RIDING
We have 5 acres of woodland here at Woodside, so you are welcome to venture out on foot. Locally there are a number of footpaths, cycle & bridal paths.
