Yeoman Cottage - sleeps 2

Situated in the lovely garden of a 17th Century Grade II listed house in the quiet village of West Chinnock, the cottage is adjacent to the house, yet quite separate from it. The cottage is very comfortably furnished, double glazed and equipped with every modern appliance. These include cooker with oven, fridge, microwave, washing machine (dryer available), Digital TV and radio and electric blanket. All bedroom, bathroom and kitchen linen is included, as is electricity for cooking and heating. A choice of duvet or blankets is offered for the double bed. Parking adjacent to Cottage. Sorry, no pets.

The Cottage Accommodation:
Sitting Room: The William Morris linen curtains, cushions and window seat together with attractive water colour pictures enhance this spacious sitting room. The octagonal table, carver chairs, bookcase and occasional tables are English walnut traditional craftsman made. There's digital TV and radio, a DVD player with a wide choice of DVDs, a
lovely selection of books and guides to the area. The east facing doors open on to a private patio, with windows look on to the garden.

Bedroom: The spacious bedroom, with beamed ceiling has north and south aspect double-glazed windows. The room is prettily furnished with floral chintz curtains and matching duvet covers. There's a double pine wardrobe and matching chest of drawers and a full length free standing mirror. There is plenty of room for a cot, which we can provide.

Bathroom: The new bathroom has a hand shower, heated towel rail and a shaver point

Kitchen: The large kitchen is fully equipped with every modern appliance including a four hotplate electric cooker with oven, 'fridge, microwave, electric kettle, coffee-maker and washing machine. There is ample crockery, cutlery and glassware, so that guests may invite friends or relations to dine with them.The round kitchen table and two chairs allow for less formal breakfasts or snacks.

From the Cottage lawn, the shallow steps lead up to the large garden, with trees, shrubs, a vegetable garden and a wild life pond.

There are lovely views from the cottage and guests are encouraged to explore the large garden. The small town of Crewkerne is three miles away, and Yeovil, the nearest big town, is six miles away. There is a school, a church, a pub in the village, and a network of footpaths for lovely walks.
