All of our 10 delightful bedrooms (including our family-room) are en-suite and well equipped with homely touches, including trouser press and bathrobes, as well as tea/coffee making facilities. Each is individually furnished and some have large windows overlooking the tree-lined avenue below.

Colwyn Bay have plenty to offer whether you are looking for a short break or longer holiday. Attractions in Colwyn Bay include its Victoria Pier, Eirias Park and Welsh Mountain Zoo. The town is situated between the sea and the Pwllycrochan Woods on the towering hillside. A business and commercial centre with rail links and close access to the activities that are available in the surrounding countryside.

Bryn Woodlands House is a 9 bed roomed 3 Star guesthouse in the centre of the town of Colwyn Bay. We no longer have a downstairs bedroom for the disabled, so the bedrooms are not adapted for wheel chairs. However our ground floor facilities are more than adequate for diners or visitors. It is on a quiet street off the main road into Colwyn Bay

Transport and Parking
- we have private on site car parking immediately at the front door at no cost to our clients
- it is a drive – through driveway for cars or large vans

Reception Facilities
- The front door is a ‘push open’ style door and it is open from 8.30am. It is locked at our own discretion during the day. The guest will always have their own key.
- There are 2 steps in total to enter the building and no other steps on the ground floor between the lounge bar dining room and foyer
- A ramp is available on request
- We have seating in the lounge, directly adjacent to the foyer
- There is a male and female toilet on the same floor
- No loop system and no Braille systems in place
- There are 14 steps to the 7 bedrooms on the first floor and a further 12 steps to the 3 bedroom on the second floor
- There is a public phone in the foyer
- The corridors are well lit
- There is no elevator
- Assistance dogs are welcome
- Room service is available upon special request
- Swan neck lamp is available

- The wallpaper in the corridor is quite dark in colour with light coloured floor.

IN SUMMARY

We cater for business folk working for a a few days in Colwyn Bay. I believe they choose our place for its closeness to all facilities and they find our service more than adequate. Guests may book their stay with meals included.

We also cater for couples having a weekly get away from the city.

The outlook over the gardens opposite is appealing and our interesting collection of art works is often commented
upon.

We have a front bedroom with a bay window and a 4 poster bed draped with curtains and canopy; for special getaways.

Families enjoy our lovely guesthouse because of the proximity to the town. It is literally minutes away from the shops and the railway station and parents can easily attend children at Rydal School.

We have a display of local attractions including a wonderful family zoo and will always make calls on behalf of guests for example fishing trips.

We are happy to book restaurants and taxis for guests.
