Chinale was once the cottage home of the mine captain of Wheal Charlotte. The old mine ruins can be seen close by in the valley. It is set in area of outstanding natural beauty just below the Beacon tor. It is set close enough to the village with its facilities to be walked to, but is out of town in a completely rural setting. The cottage is completely modernised with oil-fired central heating, large fan oven,microwave and hob oven. There is a fridge/freezer and dishwasher. A clothes washer and tumble dryer is also available.
There is a main dining room, kitchen and shower/washroom together with a main lounge (TV and wood burner stove) and second sitting room. There is a very warm double-glazed attached conservatory.
Upstairs are 4 bedrooms. These are three doubles and a single, a total of 7 persons. A child's cot is available. There is a full bathroom in addition.
There is a pleasant outside garden, with a small pond and a barbecue.
All the surrounds are fields, with plenty of wildlife which often visits. Parking includes a locking garage, a carport, and sufficient area for up to 2 more cars all on site and off road which is quiet even in season.
