All lodges are built to the highest specification and offer open plan living and dining areas and three bedrooms, each with split link double beds. The master bedroom has an en-suite with bath and separate shower whilst the family bathroom serves the other two bedrooms and has a bath with shower above.

All of our luxury lodges have wooden floors throughout, good-sized kitchen/dining areas with soft touch units and composite stone work surfaces and an open planning living space with flat-screen TV and audio system. A futuristic and eye-catching log burning heat storage stove forms the central point of the lounge area. The unusual rounded contours of the stove are more than just elegant design – the stove can be rotated to suit and can provide several hours of heat with the stone cladding of the stove acting like a thermal storage heater.

There’s plenty to do and see at Brompton Lakes, its main beauty being that you can set your own pace. In fact it is the ideal holiday location for everyone, be they couples looking for a peaceful getaway or families with children; walking groups, cyclists and other outdoor types and, of course, angling enthusiasts. The two lakes are well stocked with coarse fish (mainly carp) and guests are very welcome to fish. We also have fishing rights on the River Swale and there is easy access to around ¾ mile of river bank where grayling, wild brownie, dace and perch can be caught.
Use of the tennis court and of our range of mountain bikes is free and being at the heart of some of the most stunning countryside that Yorkshire has to offer there’s plenty to see and do. We’re also located just a few miles from the picturesque town of Richmond and within easy reach of a number of places of historic and natural interest. Whether you’re staying for a few days or a few weeks you’ll find Brompton Lakes to be as active or as relaxing as you want it to be.
