Riverside Cottage, Sidmouth - a charming self catering cottage located on the Sid River, 3 miles away from the Regency holiday town of Sidmouth.

Riverside Cottage is available for short term lets on a self catering basis. We like to think of Riverside Cottage as a home away from home.

Enjoy the beauty of East Devon whilst staying in a real Devon thatched cottage. Country walks are in abundance, and with the sea just over five minutes away, you can enjoy the best of both worlds: the rolling hills or the refreshing seaside.

The Accommodation:

The Kitchen is a modern, very well equipped cottage style kitchen, with Electric cooker, Microwave, Dishwasher, Washer/dryer, Fridge/freezer, and High chair.

From the kitchen through a wide beamed archway is the cosy and beautifully furnished Dining room / Sitting area, with a selection of books and games, and a telephone for incoming calls and outgoing emergency calls.

The focal point of this Sitting area is the feature inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove. Logs are available locally, although there will be some to get you started.

Past a small Cloakroom with w.c. and basin, to the “Garden Room”...

The "Garden Room" is a lovely relaxing room overlooking the garden with French doors to the patio which has glorious uninterrupted views over the local countryside. This room has the TV, DVD, and CD/TAPE/RADIO.

Back in the Dining room / Sitting room are the stairs to first floor...

Bedroom 1 has a double bed with a wardrobe and chest of drawers. Adjoining is an en-suite shower room with basin and w.c.

Bedroom 2 has twin single beds - again with a wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Between the two Bedrooms is the Bathroom with bath, hand held shower, basin and WC

Outside: There is the patio with table and chairs to eat at, or just to enjoy the extensive country views.

A bridleway runs behind the cottage - ideal for dog walking. Dogs must be kept on a lead as farm animals graze in the area. There are other lovely walks and lanes close by.

Parking for 2 cars is through a gate just beyond the ford
