Far End Cottage, Montacute, is built in the local golden hamstone, in a quiet village setting near to the National Trust’s Montacute House. The spacious lounge has Sky digital television, radio, CD and DVD players and an open fire. There is a fully-equipped kitchen and dining area. There is full gas central heating. Upstairs there are two bedrooms: one double and one with twin beds. The bathroom has a bath and separate walk-in shower. The pretty garden has a sitting area by a small fountain and pool and also a honeysuckle and jasmine covered pergola. There is ample private parking. Lovely walks directly from the cottage lead to Ham Hill Country park nearby. Montacute has two pubs, post office, garage, and small tea room. The cottage is close to other National Trust properties, cider mills, classic gardens, Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm museum and Sparkford Motor Museum. The Dorset coast is twenty miles away
