The house provides ample accommodation for up to 8 persons, with the possibility of a ninth on a single futon, and is available for rent. Subject to availability it might be possible to rent a friend's beach hut to coincide with bookings. The hut is close to the steps to the beach at South Green. There is no garden, but the house is one of the few in Southwold with access to the beach without crossing a road. The rear yard is excellent for the storage of bicycles.

There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away! The Olde Banke House has been equipped to a high standard. Set over three floors, it is very spacious yet at the same time very homely and comfortable.
