16th century Slack Cottage is set in 10 acres of land bordering the shore of Windermere Lake. Magnificent lake and mountain views, 4 miles from Ambleside and 1.5 miles from Hawkshead. We have two en-suite letting rooms, one double and one twin/super-king.We are very quiet and secluded the perfect luxury Lakeland retreat.

Crag View is a charming cottage in an excellent location within two minutes walk of the centre of Ambleside. It is above the village so it has superb views right down the Langdale Valley and over to Lake Windermere. It is a traditional stone cottage at the end of a row of four. The cottage is very comfortable with good quality equipment and furnishings throughout. Many of our visitors return year after year.
