Bothan Darach cottage is situated, on the shores of Loch Linnhe, amidst some of the finest scenery in Europe. It is popular amongst our guests for walking, cycling, bird watching etc. Bothan Darach is well situated for visiting any of the exciting days out that are possible from Port Appin. Oban is under 20 miles and Fort William is around 40 minutes. On the way to visit practically any site you will pass castles and scenery which are iconic. Watch the elements, from our upstairs sitting room, over Loch Linnhe and the Morven mountains from the comfort of one of our rocking chairs. Pets/Dogs welcome.(£20 per week per dog)

We have a large informal garden with a path leading to the shore from where there are stunning loch views and amazing sunsets across Loch Creran to Lismore, Morven and beyond. Spring Cottage makes an ideal base for a wide range of activities from gentle to high-level walks, sailing or kayaking, fishing, mountainbiking or just generally relaxing and pottering about. Visitors enjoy exploring the islands, mountains, countryside and villages that make the area so special.
