Ladywell House Bed and Breakfast is a former manse, built in 1804, and is surrounded by an acre of beautiful walled garden. There are outstanding views over North Fife - on a clear night the lights of St. Andrews can be seen. Previously owned by Francis Shand-Kydd, the mother of the late Diana, Princess of Wales, Ladywell House in Falkland Fife, is believed to have been visited by Diana and her sons, Princes William and Harry.

This property was converted into a spacious and luxurious house in 2006. Although modern and new in the inside some of its original walls were kept. The four bedrooms are spacious and have king sized beds and ample storage. The living/dining room is tastefully furnished with music centre, satelite tv and dining table which seats eight persons. The kitchen is spacious with breakfast bar, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, gas hob, washing machine and dryer.The main bathroom has a whirlpool bath and one of the bedrooms has an ensuite shower/toilet. There is also a downstairs cloakroom. TThe Cooperage is only yards away from the picturesque harbour and coastal path to the neighbouring fishing town of Pittenweem. Go and watch the local fleet land their catch of prawns or explore the small art galleries after sampling delicious home baking in the local tea rooms .
