Great Glen Barn
The Great Glen Barn is nestled in tranquil gardens ensuring complete privacy and the chance for peaceful relaxation. The accommodation has Aonarch Mor and Ben Nevis as it's backdrop while nearby the Caledonian Canal connects the Atlantic to the North Sea. The River Spean well known by canoeing enthusiasts flows to the right of the property down in a deep gorge until it enters the conflunce at Mucomir Bridge. Here it meets the River Lochy where salmon can be spotted returning to spawn. There is truly something for everyone. Stone and wooden converted barn with stone feature fire place, light and airy, warm and cosy. Traditional yet modern at the same time overlooking beautiful views of the mountainous scenery; situated near the spectacular river Spean gorge. Whatever you have in mind to do on your holiday: walking/hiking, fishing, biking, canoeing/kyaking etc, you are situated perfectly to do all those activities and come back to a cosy cottage to chill and relax.

Gorries Lair, a recently modernised old stone cottage, is one of three cottages in the 16-acre grounds of historic Tirindrish House, where the first skirmish of the 1745 Jacobite rebellion was launched. It is on two floors with lovely views of the Nevis range of mountains from the living room which overlooks a huge garden with outside patio and brick-barbecue.
