Broadstairs not only famous for its beaches but it was once the home of the author Charles Dickens! Visit the Charles Dickens museum or walk around many of the little shops named after some of his greatest novels. Visit us in the beginning of August and join Broadstairs in their Folk Week celebrations, a full week of entertainment for children and adults. If you want to explore further you could visit our neighbouring seaside resorts of Ramsgate and Margate. Ramsgate with its extensive harbour and Margate with the stunning Turner Contemporary, a dynamic art gallery.
