3 Sawpit Cottages is a charming, cosy cottage situated in the centre of Brancaster. It has been the loved second home of legendary comedy writer David Croft for many years. David has written (in collaboration) many of our British comedy classics including Dad's Army, Are You Being Served, Hi De Hi and ‘Allo ‘Allo. He has spent many happy summers at Sawpit and wrote many episodes of Dad's Army and much of his autobiography in this very sitting room!
