Balmoral was built around 1870. Then a Grand Victorian Seaside Hotel which has had many visitors over the 140 years. In recent years we decided to purchase the apartment and bring it back to its former glory with a view to once again enable visitors to enjoy the quiet life here in Llanfairfechan as they did in times gone by. We have tried to make visitors a home from home bringing the apartment up to date with digital TV & wi-fi access. Llanfairfechan is ideally placed for touring North Wales. We are at the gateway to the Snowdonia National Park. Our coastal location is 9 miles from Bangor and 9 miles to Llandudno. We overlook the Irish Sea the Isle of Anglesey the Great Orme and directly in front of us Puffin Island or Ynys Seriol and Penmon light house. Llanfairfechan has a number of shops , a bank with an ATM, five public houses, a golf and sailing club. There are also a number of cafes in the village. We have purchased golf clubs and mountain bikes for our visitors to use. Please be aware these are used at your own risk. Parking is free on the road in front of Balmoral. Llanfairfechan train station is 500 meters away. Disabled/Access The Balmoral Apartment has stairs which access the two floors. There are also steps from the garden up to the property. Please be aware of this when booking if you are disabled.
