Cuan Cottage - Portaferry County Down
Cuan Cottage is our “sheltered haven” on the shores of Strangford Lough. This 100 year old, stone built, fisherman’s cottage sits on a narrow street running down to the marina. The cottage consists of a cosy living room, comfortable master bedroom, a second bedroom furnished with bunk beds and a well equipped kitchen/dining room complete with a Welcome Pack to get you started. Outside we have our sheltered, south facing cottage garden, complete with garden furniture, barbeque and hammock – an ideal suntrap for lazing in, after an active day out and about!

BarrHall Barns, The Barn - Portaferry, Co. Down
The barns are on the southern tip of the Ards Peninsula, 3.5 miles south of Portaferry situated on Barr Hall Bay, a seal basking location protected by the National Trust. The Barns overlook the Narrows and the Barmouth with its turbulent waters that prompted the Viking invaders to name it the âStrang Fjiordâ. The Lough is a site of Special Scientific Interest and of Outstanding Natural Beauty. On the other side lies the Lecale area and views from the site stretch to the Mourne Mountains.
