A quiet scenic setting midway between Loch Marlee and Loch Clunie, it is an ideal centre for touring,walking, cycling, fishing, skiing and bird-watching. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area including deer, ospreys, otters and red squirrels, some of which are often seen from the lounge window. There are easy to moderate walks locally, more strenuous ones within driving distance and on and off road cycle tracks nearby. Famous rivers,lochs and golf courses are all in this locality, as well as castles, palaces and gardens.
