We have 7 properties created from stone barns on an attractive farm in the Wray Valley, part of Dartmoor National Park. We are rural, but not remote. Wonderful for walking and cycling holidays, and parefectly placed for touring the varied sights of Devon.  

Hartsop Hall Cottages, Hartsop, Patterdale

Hartsop Hall is a 16th Century Grade 1 listed property and working hill farm. It is located in the midst of some of the most majestic fells and stunning scenery in the Lake District. Here we have two traditional Lakeland stone cottages, each providing comfortable self-catering accommodation for up to six people. Both cottages are idyllically situated on the farm, offering a truly "off the beaten track" holiday experience. Hartsop Hall is close to Brothers Water, at the head of Patterdale, and is only a short distance from Ullswater.

A small family run farm set in fifteen acres of gardens, field and woodland. Relax with a book in the gardens surrounding the cottages, help us feed the animals or just unwind in our rural haven. Tucked away in the heart of the North Devon countryside in a secluded valley full of wildlife, Lower Hearson Farm is perfect for a relaxing holiday. 6 self catering cottages sleeping 2 -7 are surrounded by two acres of gardens. Guests are very welcome to help us at feeding times for the animals, help to collect the eggs and round up the chickens when it is their bedtime. Within the grounds we have an outdoor covered, heated swimming pool, a children’s play area, sandpit, trampoline badminton net and a games room. Well behaved dogs are also welcome.
