Experience a real farm in action on our 500+ acre organic working farm in the luxury of our 4 Star self-catering cottages. From lambing to harvest, shearing to seed sowing, there is always something going on. Explore the banks of the river Taf or amble along the old disused railway line which makes an excellent nature trail. Visit us at different times of the year to experience every season. Enjoy picnics in the gardens and fields or late evening barbeques in summer, there is the newly sprouted flowers and newborn lambs in spring, the aroma of freshly cut hay or array of different coloured leaves in autumn and finally the fresh crisp winter mornings. Lower Trewashford is surrounded by stunning countryside views, ambling country lanes that are quiet even with holiday traffic and has an abundance of wild birds. 'An Taigh Clach' provides excellent 4 star rated self catering accommodation in the crofting township of Carloway on the Atlantic west coast of the Isle of Lewis. The property boasts stunning views, with the Atlantic to the west, the hills of Uig and Harris in the distance and the croft land of Carloway directly outside your door. It is ideally situated for exploring the whole island and especially the many local sites of interest such as the world famous Callanish Standing Stones, the Broch at Doune Carloway, the Garenin Blackhouse village and the restored Norse Mill between Dalbeg and Shawbost. Our complimentary Hebridean welcome pack includes a welcome 'dram' on arrival, home baked produce, our own heather fed lamb or mutton (depending on season) and a bottle of red and white wine. A newly refurbished and spacious four bed farm house situated on a working farm in the heart of Gower. The farm house is set in its own acreage with farm animals and views over Rhossili Down. It also features a downstairs bedroom and newly fitted shower room making it suitable for some visitors with limited mobility.

Recently converted from a nineteen century, steam driven sawmill. Oak Cottage is a single storey property built of stone and wood. Fully centrally heated and well insulated ensuring that although spacious they are warm and comfortable.
