Woodend is a 19th Century picturesque farm cottage set in mature gardens and surrounded by farmland. It is on the outskirts of the hamlet of Failford which is on the River Ayr, about nine miles from the coastal town of Ayr. Woodend is on the route of the popular River Ayr Way which is a popular walk from the source of the River Ayr at Glenbuck to sea. We are dog friendly and have dogs of our own but would reguest that we are informed if guests are bringing their pet with them.

Great for walking, cycling and sailing and there are several nearby golf courses Within easy reach are the islands of Arran, Bute and Cumbrae, so there's plenty of potential for exploring!
